Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and delivery-oriented Project Leader to lead our .NET application development initiatives. This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on development. The Project Leader will manage and mentor a team of developers, actively contribute as an individual contributor, and work closely with client leadership to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, Azure, and AI-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software projects.
  • Design, architect, and implement scalable application and backend solutions using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core MVC, and RESTful APIs.
  • Actively contribute to coding, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization as an individual contributor.
  • Collaborate with client leadership and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance for integrating AI-driven solutions using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and related AI frameworks.
  • Drive the design and implementation of data-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
  • Build and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, including schema design, complex queries, indexing, and stored procedures.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce clean coding standards, and ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Manage Agile/Scrum workflows, lead sprint planning, and track team productivity using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Proactively identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3–5 years in a technical leadership or project leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • .NET Core and ASP.NET Core MVC
    • RESTful Web API development
    • SQL Server (database design, optimization, stored procedures)
    • Entity Framework Core
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, and Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI tools and APIs, including OpenAI and similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; exposure to React.js is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and security best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability for project outcomes.
