Coimbatore/India, 9th February 2015: One of India’s industry leaders in providing engineering services and solutions, CYIENT, will implement the eFACiLiTY® – Visitor Management System (VMS) for 10 of its locations. The managing of visitors and their entry approvals are segregated department wise making it almost 600 locations.
The eFACiLiTY® – VMS will be implemented on a central server allowing each of CYIENT’s sites to better track visitors entering and leaving the respective facilities. The visitors will be screened at the entrance, with the reception/security personnel registering the visitor by scanning a driver’s license/valid identification card or passport capturing the visitor’s general details and a photo will be taken of the visitor. Following the registration process, the system runs a background check on the visitor checking in and if cleared an identification badge will be printed out, which is worn by the visitor at all times on CYIENT grounds. Before leaving the facility, the visitor must check out at the exist gate using the Visitor Management System.
