British Aero Space Systems, a global defence, security and aerospace company with approximately 107,000 employees worldwide delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services. SARA Village (about 1700 villas), its housing unit in Al Khobar – Saudi Arabia, accommodates all their employees of the region.
BAE Systems began looking out for a software solution that would manage Sara Village facility which is a residential complex encompassing restaurants, club houses, sports facilities, auditorium, shops, medical facilities, etc and also an administrative block. Global Trade S.A.R.L. referred SIERRA’s eFACiLiTY to them. eFACiLiTY is implemented with the help of Saudi Arabia Catering and Contracting Company (SCCC) that provides Facilities Management Services to Sara Village.
BAE Systems found a solution in eFACiLiTY – Enterprise Facilities Management Suite, a powerful and user friendly tool to manage the facility management operations of a domestic upscale residential complex. BAE uses the tool for managing various functions such as helpdesk operations, preventive & ad–hoc maintenance scheduling, asset management, facility booking, stores inventory management, issuing tenant bills, managing visitors at the administrative block, etc. eFACiLiTY helps Sara Village to be one of the best managed in the country.
