COVID-19 has changed the rules in the way we run business, re-iterating the need to ensure the health and safety of the building occupants as the pandemic plays out. Our commitment towards creating a safe workplace for our employees and preparing a sustainable work environment beyond the pandemic, helped us to achieve Arc Re-entry certification.
When we decided to re-open our workplace for employees during the pandemic, we wanted our return-to-workplace strategies to be implemented with a greater focus on people, providing transparency, and support a safe & confident re-entry to our employees, clients, and suppliers. Hence, to evaluate and follow safety measures against the global COVID-19 pandemic with international standards we went ahead with Arc Re-entry.
The COVID-19 outbreak is an ongoing, developing situation, rapidly changing the facility management & regulatory landscape. In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Arc, an affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), launched Arc Re-Entry to assist companies with re-entering their buildings and facilities safely during the pandemic.
Arc Re-Entry provides a set of management tools to benchmark infection-control policies and procedures, collect occupant experiences and track indoor air quality within a workplace, thereby allowing the facility owners to transparently provide their occupants a safe and healthy work environment. It uses an iterative process to re-evaluate scores either on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis to ensure they continue to perform and improve over time.
The Re-Entry Comprehensiveness Score (3 strategies) provides a comparable measure of the breadth and documentation of facility management policies, occupant experience, and measured indoor air quality. |
